Pitches
Write for us
We take guest essays from people who have actually priced, drawn, approved or built the thing they want to write about. If your only credential is a content calendar, this is the wrong desk.
What we want
- Original work, written in Australian English, 1,200–2,000 words.
- A specific Australian job, code path, material, contract or precinct problem — not a generic “10 tips for a dream home”.
- A clear argument. The reader should know what to do differently on Monday.
- A home in one of our hubs: concept design, construction, materials, cities or practice.
What we reject
- Rewritten press releases, AI filler, or the same essay sent to twenty journals.
- Ranked listicles with no job evidence.
- Undisclosed paid placement, or any request to hide a commercial link.
- Attacks on named individuals, or legal advice dressed as reporting.
How to pitch
Send one page, not a finished draft, to support@worldwidebacklinks.com or through the contact form. Use the topic “Guest essay pitch”. Include:
- Working title and the hub it belongs in.
- The argument in four sentences.
- Why you are the person to write it, with one relevant job.
- Any conflict, client, product or paid link. Name it.
- Whether images are yours, or Creative Commons / public domain with credits.
Links and disclosure
Guest essays may carry a byline and a single contextual link. If money, product or a client relationship sits behind a link, it is marked rel="sponsored" and disclosed on the page. That is not negotiable. Paid placement enquiries can be sent through Worldwide Backlinks. Read the editorial standards before you pitch.
